TELEPSYCHOLOGY

I provide telepsychological services to those residing or working in
Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

I also have Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) under the PSYPACT Commission.

I am able to provide telepsychological services to anyone residing or working in any of the PSYPACT-participating states.

For an updated list of participating PSYPACT states, states that have enacted PSYPACT legislation, and states where PSYPACT legislation has been introduced, please visit:

Telepsychology can be particularly helpful for those navigating the postpartum period.

If you are someone who is in this stage and wants support, I am happy to help you virtually

Currently, I provide telepsychology using a HIPAA-compliant video service or telephone.

I may be able to offer in-person psychotherapy if you feel that type of support would be best.

FEES & INSURANCE

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I am not paneled with any insurance companies.

Fees are due at the time of service.

You are welcome to contact me to discuss the fee for individual psychotherapy sessions.

Most patients receive reimbursement for out-of-network services. If you plan to use out-of-network mental health benefits, I will provide you with whatever assistance I can to help you receive the benefits to which you are entitled. Additionally, at the beginning of each month, I will provide you with a superbill of all services rendered in the previous month for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Please plan to speak with your insurance provider before your initial evaluation to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

The following questions may be helpful to ask your insurance provider:

1. Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

2. What is my deductible for out-of-network mental health services? And, what is the remaining amount of my deductible that I will have to pay before I receive reimbursement for out-of-network services?

3. Once I meet my deductible, what percentage will my insurance cover for a 45-minute individual psychotherapy session?

CPT Code: 90834, Zip Code: 20009

4. What is the process for submitting superbills for reimbursement?
